Every flower begins in the studio. Each silk petal and leaf is cut and pressed by hand with Victorian-era tools exclusive to the studio, guided by techniques Marie has refined over many years. The metal leaves are created using the studio's antique Victorian-era molds. They are made the way couture flowers were made a century ago, and they cannot be made any other way. That is why no Marie Livet piece can be found anywhere else.

From those flowers come the heirloom bouquets, and from the same flowers come the house's silk and studio art. Every scarf, pocket square and print begins as a couture flower made by hand, then is translated onto silk finished with a hand-rolled edge, or into fine-art giclée printed with archival inks.

Each piece carries the same hand, the same tools and the same patience.
