Ginette is a statement piece. Handmade in the studio with Victorian-era tools exclusive to the studio. Many hours go into hand dyeing silk chiffon and satin to add complementary tones to the arrangement. After cutting and pressing each stem is bound in silk and finished with a velvet base before wiring them all together.
Silk satin, silk chiffon and silk velvet. Wrapped in silk dupioni.
The ends of Ginette are looped to make it easy to add a ribbon for headband or sash purposes.
Each piece has its own nature. Like a painting, something similar can be made, but never the exact same piece twice.
